Some Important Things To Remember:
â–º Unless the upgrade is under "Lucky Exclusive" or "Unlucky Exclusive" they can be applied to either type of Nyulop.
â–º The required level must be met before an upgrade can be applied to your Nyulop.
Upgrades that add a new color can not share the same color as the eyes, inner ears, mouth, whiskers, and/or paw pads of your character (unless the upgrade description states otherwise!).​
Name: Star Markings

Description: It looks like the stars were aligned for something wonderful to happen! Did your Nyulop make a wish on this momentous occasion?
Application: You may add one to three (1-3) star shaped markings anywhere on your Nyulop. The colour of these markings must be present on your Nyulop at the time of application. They are subject to other upgrades that can change fur colour.
Name: Gradient Eyes

Description: My oh my, someone sure has special eyes. What did they witness?
Application: Eyes can be a gradient of two (2) colours (blue to yellow) or between two (2) shades of the same colour (two blues). Must be applied to both eyes.

Description: IT'S SO FLUFFY! How does one get ears of this fluffiness? It's almost too much to handle!
Application: Make both of your Nyulop's ears SUPER FLUFFY! The colour must match your Nyulop's base colours (or, if it happens to be within a marking, the colour of the marking instead).

Description: Something smells...fishy...or wet dog? Either way, that tail's super cool!
Application: You may give your Nyulop a fish like tail (like the example above). The base colour of the tail must be the base colour of your Nyulop's fur. If the tail has a marking it's inherited onto this upgrade. The frill on the tail may be any colour currently on your Nyulop.

Description: Aren't you looking...sharp. It's almost electric. You've got a real spark. Alright, enough puns, I think we get the point.
Application: You may give your Nyulop spikes on its ears, cheeks, head, neck fluff and tail. Nowhere else. The spikes are either the base colour of your Nyulop or whatever marking colour is in that area of their body. You may not make them any colour not currently on your Nyulop. Spikiness must be applied to all listed areas, not selectively.

Description: What an incredibly silky looking coat you have! And it looks rather warm, too!
Application: You may give your Nyulop a tuft of hair on the top of its head (like the example above) and make their neck fluff and tail fluffier and silkier. The tuft on the forehead may be any colour currently on your Nyulop, but the neck and tail must remain the same as it is currently (including whatever markings they have). You must apply the tuft on the head as well as making the neck and tail longer and silkier.

Description: What adorable fuzzy little feelers! Does...does having them make you want to fly into a light bulb repeatedly?
Application: You may grow out a set of moth-like antenna above your Nyulop's whiskers but in front of their ears (as featured in the image above). The antenna must be either the base colour of your Nyulop's fur or, if there are markings on the forehead in those locations, the colour of said markings. Antenna are the approximate length and width shown above and are fuzzy.

Description: Oh wow, your...your face is glowing. Might you be the chosen one?
Application: Applying this upgrade will make it possible for your Nyulop's eyes and whiskers to glow! The glow itself can be one of several colours: red, blue, green, yellow, purple, orange or pink. Any other colours are not allowed. The glow can only be a singular colour, as shown above.
Note: Traditionally, the glowing occurs in flashes (much like a firefly), but you can potentially glow for longer. The glowing is controlled.
Name: Candy Horns

Description: Those horns look positively delicious! Sweet, tangy, sour, even spicy! Such an array of flavourful choices!
Application: You may either 1) grow a set of horns according to the guidelines above -- choosing from small, medium or large in size; or 2) change your current horns (Uni Horns, Draken Horns, Starter Horns, Goo Horns, etc.) into candified versions! This will simply change their colour, not their size.

Description: That's a rather interesting marking! You look like someone's birthday cake! How fantastically fun!
Application: You may give your Nyulop sprinkle-like markings. They can come in any of the colours featured in the Candy Horn example. You may choose one flavour or create a rainbow flavour and mix several of the colours! Have fun with it! Sugary Sprinkles may be put on your Nyulop's tail and/or neck fluff. You can choose to put it on both, or on either, it's up to you!

Description: Damn that Reynard! He left a permanent mark on the kids who found themselves in the chaos of Halloween Havoc..
Application: You may apply this marking to your Draken or Nyulop. You may only have one (1) of these markings on their body. The marking must be one of the colours currently on your Draken/Nyulop, and it may be any colour you'd like from them. The size of the marking may only be between the two sizes shown in the example. The marking may be placed anywhere you would like on your Draken/Nyulop. The ghost-like marking must 'wrap' around some part of your character. The ghost's face MUST be 1) simple; 2) similar to the example.

Description: My aren't you spiffy! What a snazzy looking marking you have.
Application: You may apply these markings in one of two ways. You may either 1) apply a sun OR moon marking somewhere on your character; or 2) apply a sun and moon marking somewhere on your character. Markings are allowed to be applied anywhere on your character, and may vary somewhat in size, but should not be very large (feel free to inquire before applying). Markings are gradient. No overlapping of sun and moon markings are permitted. Please ensure that the moon remains a crescent and that there are at least six points to the sun. They may be any colour you would like, but nothing black, white or grey.

Description: Those really do seem like the type of wings you'd find on a bird sitting in a particular kind of tree...is there a song about it?
Application: You may apply these wings to your Nyulop (baby or adult!). The wings must be approximately the same size in ratio as shown in the example. The outside of the wings must be a slightly darker shade than your Nyulop's base pelt. The markings on the wings must match the example and be the lightest colour on your Nyulop. The interior of the wings should either match your Nyulop's base pelt or be a slightly lighter colour. The feathers that are hanging down from the wings may be any colour currently on your Nyulop including their eyes/whiskers/ears. The colour on these feathers must be a gradient. Description: Looks like you've got some sort of long slender tail...with some serious bling.
Application: You may apply this upgrade to your Nyulop (baby or adult!). You may extend the length of your Nyulop's tail to facilitate these rings. There must be five (5) rings on the tail. All rings must be the same colour. The rings may be gold, silver or bronze/copper. You may apply this to any tail type with the appropriate length. This includes the Vap Tail.

Description: What a unique marking to have! Is it different from other markings in some way? Sure feels like it...
Application: You may apply this upgrade to your Nyulop (baby or adult!). You may give them 1-3 (one to three) heart shaped markings. These markings may be any shade of red or pink OR any colour currently on your Nyulop. These markings are unique! Unlike other heart-shaped markings, those earned on Heartsgiving provide one the ability to comfort others while embracing them. The hearts provide a warm and soothing feeling through physical contact that can be calming to others.

Application: You may apply this upgrade to your Nyulop (baby or adult!). You may give your Nyulop a heart-shaped palm pad. The new pads (fingers/thumb and palm included) may be either a shade of pink or red OR remain the current paw-pad colour on your Nyulop. Additionally, this paw-pad type may be added to hand-types which do not normally feature paw-pads, such as Draken Arms.

Description: Looks like someone's whispering sweet nothings into your ears...
Application: You may apply this upgrade to your Nyulop (baby or adult!). You may make a defined heart shape to the tips of your Nyulop's ears. Additionally, you may add a heart-shaped marking on the inside of the ear (similar to the design shown above), but it is not required that you do so. Should you add the heart-shaped marking it may be any shade of pink or red OR be any colour currently on your Nyulop. This ear shape is compatible with other ear upgrades, including ones such as Ear Tufts.
Name: Leo Ears

Description: Are those stars in your.......ears? (isn't the saying normally stars in your eyes?)
Application: Give your Nyulop large rounded ears. Change the inner ear to the shape of a five-point star. The inner ear will remain the same colour and only change shape. Unlucky Nyulop may include a notch in the ear should it be desired! This ear type is compatible with upgrades like Ear Tufts. It is not compatible with other ear-shape changing upgrades.

Description: It's time to shine like the star you really are!
Application: Give your Nyulop a single large star (approximately the size in the example), which can be any colour you would like so long as it isn't pure black or pure white. The star can only be a five-point one. The marking can be applied anywhere on your Nyulop's pelt.
Name: Comet's Tail

Description: If you run real fast it almost looks like a shooting star nyooming across the ground!
Application: Elongate and thin out your Nyulop's tail. Add a five-point star shaped "bulb" to the end. The star may be any colour of your choosing aside from pure black or pure white. The star "bulb" may faintly glow the colour of the star itself. This tail type can be combined with other tail-based upgrades!
Name: Heterochromia

Description: Someone's rocking some serious special eyes over here!
Application: Give your character one distinctly different coloured eye. The eye may not be pure white or pure black, it must be a colour. This upgrade only works to change the colour of the iris, not the pupil or sclera. Application requirements vary by event.

Description: Light it up like the bright night sky!
Application: Starry sparks materialize within an already existing marking, making it appear like there's a galaxy within that spot! These stars must be paler than the base colour (ideally something like a pale yellow, for example), but may not be pure white. The base of the marking should be any colour featured on one of the Starsail Festival Koals. You may not use the white trim of the Koal as one of your colour choices. Your marking can either be a gradient OR a solid sky-colour. The stars within the marking may twinkle and occasionally a shooting star might streak past!
Colours of Koals which may be used: 1, 2, or 3
THIS UPGRADE CAN ONLY APPLY TO MARKINGS. This means you may use either markings originally on your character from their creation or markings added later via upgrades. It only works on the pelt of your character. It can't be applied to their inner ears, whiskers, paws or mouth. It can't be applied to the interior or exterior of wings UNLESS a marking exists on the backs of them. This upgrade is not compatible with upgrades like Partridge Wings and can not be adjusted using Marking Colour Changer or any other marking or colour adjusting upgrade.
THIS UPGRADE CAN ONLY BE APPLIED TO A SINGLE MARKING. Please check with an admin/mod if you're uncertain!
Name: Cosmic Dust

Description: Having that multi-coloured cloud of dust trailing behind you makes you look very regal!
Application: Grow a set of crescent moon shaped golden discs on the sides of your Draken/Nyulop's neck. From these discs a dust like substance is emitted. This function can be controlled. The dust can come in an array of blues, purples and pinks (representing the early to late evening sky). Within this dust can be found twinkling stars. A gradient must be visible to some degree within the dust and it should contain pinks, purples and blues. No other colours should be present, but you must include at least one pink, purple and blue within the dust cloud.

Application: You may morph your Nyulop's ears into what you see above. The interior of the ears should match the original interior of your Nyulop's ears. The ears should remain the same colour(s) as the original ears. You may make the feathers a colour that is currently on your Nyulop's pelt if you so choose.

Description: AAHH!!...Sorry, you scared me!
Application: Give your Character orange markings like in the picture above. They do not ring around the entire eye, but these markings do cover the eyelids. The size of the spike should be no bigger than the picture above, and must be on the top of the eye - not the bottom or the side. This marking can be any color of the rainbow (excluding eyes, inner ears, mouth, whiskers and or paw pads). The marking may not be pure white or pure black, refer to the official rules for more information.

Description: Why a sly looking tail you have there...I almost want to kick it!
Application: You may grow your Nyulop's tail into the shape/size shown above. The top of the tail closest to the base of their spine should have some prominent fluff. The tip of their tail should be slender and have a spade-like (upside down heart) shape. About one-third of the tail starting at the tip and moving up should have a darker gradient to contrast the base colour of your Nyulop's pelt. It should be visibly darker. This may be the darkest colour currently on your Nyulop (excluding eyes, inner ears, mouth, whiskers and or paw pads) OR you may add a darker colour. This additional colour may not be black or white.

Description: What little ears you have...
Application: You may morph your Nyulop's ears into this shape. The shape must match what is shown above, with three prominent notches, matching the appearance of Pitiful ears. Ears remain the same base colour and markings currently on ears remain. For Nyulop, you remove the inner ear colour. Unluckies do not have notches with this ear type. This ear type is compatible with certain other ear upgrades - please inquire!
Name: Unfortunate Inner Glow

Application: You may give your Nyulop an internal glow. This glow is controlled. This inner glow is visible through the mouth only. It may be any colour you'd like excluding white and black.

Description: Get outta here with that thing.
Application: You may give your Nyulop an elongated striped tongue. It must match the shape shown above. The stripes should be distinctly different colours or tones/shades. One must be noticeably darker than the other. You may not use white or black on the tongue. For Unluckies, you may notch the tip, but it is not required.
Name: Cherub Mark

Description: A patch of colour that resembles a pair of cute Cupid wings. It gives off the scent of roses when your character is around some one they have romantic feelings for.
Application: This upgrade should appear the same size and shape as it does in the example. This upgrade can be any colour currently on your character according to the colour grabbing rule.
Name: Delicate Tail

Description: Does your tail flutter and flap?
Application: You may grow a tail matching the design above. You may CHOOSE to keep the curls on the end of the tail. They are not required. Should you choose to keep them, they may be any colour on your character. The wings should be the size and shape shown above. The pattern may be any pattern currently available for Apex Butter Wings. They may be any colour you like so long as they abide by the colour application rule. The colors on them cannot be moved with any color mixing upgrades.
Name: Regal Horns

Description: What fanciful horns atop your head! Truly they are elegant and ornate.
Application: You may grow a set of matching horns that appear in the shape shown above. These horns may be dark grey to off-white OR any colour currently on your character. The two flowers on either side of the horn may be any colour you like, abiding by colour rules, and all four must match. The colors on them cannot be moved with any color mixing upgrades.
Name: Stylish Star Tail

Description: The star might have been on your tail, but now your tail is the star!
Application: Your Nyulop's tail is now styled into 5 distinct tufts, making it look like a star! The tail should not get any bigger or longer, and all existing markings on it will warp to fit the new shape.

Application: Give your character small star markings all over, or in small clusters! They may not be any larger than what is shown in the example image. They can be any color currently on your character's pelt.
Name: False Eyes

Description: The pupils seem to very slowly look in the same direction as the real eyes… as if they're staring right into you...
Application: Your character finds themselves with gemstone like growths under their eyes. They should not deviate from the example image in shape or size. You have two choices for color options:
1) The inner, "pupil" part of the false eyes can be red/orange, and the outer "sclera" part can be yellow/orange, mimicking the Chaos Construct's eyes.
2) The inner "pupil" can match the character's real iris color, and the outer "sclera" can be a lighter or darker color of the same hue. If they have any sort of iris changing upgrade (gradient eyes, heterochromia, ect.) the false eyes will mimic them with the same rules/guidelines.
Name: Spellcaster's Ears

Description: Mystical!
Application: Your Nyulop grows ears that resemble the shape above. The ears should be pointed and have the second point near the base, and the inner ear should stay the same color it was before the upgrade was applied. The inner fluff can be any color currently on your Nyulop's pelt.
Name: Spiked Pelt

• Submit at least one entry to Topsy Turvy Town 2020.
Description: Woah! You've become as pointy as a Thorny Toadstool!
Application: Make your character's pelt spiky! This upgrade affects the areas shown in the image, and removes the front half of a Nyulop' neck ruff. It does not affect hair. There can be less spikes, but no more than shown than in the image. Pelt texture upgrades such as Wooly Pelt and Feathery Pelt can be combined as long as they don't occupy the same area as the spikes. Angora fur cannot be combined with this upgrade. Fluffy shoulders and any other. upgrades that alter or add to the neck fluff are not compatible with this upgrade. Any markings that were on the neck remain on the spikes.
Name: Sporepole Tail

Description: Now you can perhaps swim as well as a Sporepole!
Application: Your character grows a Sporepole's tail. The webbing can be any color of your choice aside from the standard color restrictions of no pure black or white, and cannot be the color of your character's eyes.
Name: Swirled Belly

Description: Staring into the swirl may... make you... sleepy....
Application: Apply a swirled marking to your character's belly. This swirl can be any color of your choice besides pure black, pure white, or the color of your character's eyes.
Name: Embedded Star Gem

Description: Your heart shines as bright as a star!
Application: A star-shaped gem can be placed anywhere on your character as long as it remains the approximate size shown above. The gem can have between 4-6 points and can be any color of your choice following the standard color rules. The gem can also glow and this glow can be controlled.
Name: Starburst Ears
Release: June 1st, 2020

Requirements:

• Submit at least two images featuring the stalls during Starsail 2020.
Description: Your ears have burst into a new shape!
Application: Your Nyulop grows ears that resemble the shape above. The inner ear color becomes a two color gradient of the original inner ear color and either a darker version of that color, or a lighter version of that color.
